Desert Classic Relocates to Victory Rose

VACAVILLE, Calif. (Dec. 29, 2001) - Desert Classic, sire of California-bred millionaire Native Desert, has been relocated to Victory Rose Thoroughbreds and will stand the 2002 breeding season for $2,000, live foal guarantee.

The 18-year-old son of Damascus, out of the Never Bend mare Classic Perfection, has nine crops of racing age with progeny earnings of more than $3 million. He is owned by a partnership.

Native Desert has 19 careers wins, 12 of them stakes, including the California Cup Mile and California Turf Championship twice each. His career earnings are $1,583,890. He stood this year at Valley View Farm.
