Avenue of Siam Pans for Sutter Gold
ALBANY, Calif. (Dec. 28, 2001) - Avenue of Siam is the lone California-bred entered in Sunday's $55,000 Sutter Stakes for 2-year-olds at Golden Gate Fields.
The son of Avenue of Flags, out of the Batonnier mare Mirawauke, was bred by Den Pojanamat. He broke his maiden in his second start, a Nov. 3 maiden special weight race at Bay Meadows.
