Perfect Woman, Italian Wine Vie in Corte Madera ALBANY, Calif. (Dec. 27, 2001) - Perfect Woman and Italian Wine are the two California-breds entered in Saturday's $55,000 Corte Madera Stakes for 2-year-old fillies at Golden Gate Fields. Perfect Woman is a daughter of Mr. Bolg, out of the Search for Gold mare Endless Search, and was bred by H. Booth Hanson. She broke her maiden for $12,500 and easily won a Dec. 5 starter's allowance race at Golden Gate. Italian Wine is a daughter of Desert Wine, out of the Hoist the Silver mare D'Amelia, and was bred by Ronald Balbi.
