High Brite Mare Produces Fair Grounds Winner
NEW ORLEANS, La. (Dec. 22, 2001) - Sunny Scarlet, an Excavate filly out of the High Brite mare Brite Sunny, won the $61,275 Louisiana Futurity for 2-year-olds at the Fair Grounds Saturday.
Bred by Kay Thomas, Sunny Scarlet beat the odds-on favorite Sweet Remiss and won for the second time in three starts and has earnings of $65,765.
