Feverish Retired; Has Date With Bertrando
INGLEWOOD, Calif. (Dec. 16, 2001) - Feverish, winner of last year's Grade II Bayakoa Handicap, has been retired by owners Marty and Pam Wygod and will be bred in California to their top stallion, Bertrando.
The 6-year-old daughter of Pirate's Bounty, out of the Flying Paster mare Blonde Fever, was bred in California by her owners. She won 12 of 42 career starts and $908,953 in earnings. She finished fifth Saturday attempting to defend her title in the Bayakoa.
