Cal-Bred Stakes Winners Meet at Golden Gate ALBANY, Calif. (Dec. 15, 2001) - The feature race at Golden Gate Fields Sunday is not a stakes, but it will host its share of California-bred stakes winners. Sea To See, Takin It Deep and Hoovergetthekeys will renew rivalries in the $40,000 allowance for 3-year-olds at 1 1/16 miles on turf. Sea To See is by Al Mamoon, out of the Desert Wine mare Sea Caylee Run, and was bred by Mr. and Mrs. Barton Heller. He won the Half Moon Bay Stakes and most recently was outrun in the Hollywood Derby. All four of his wins are on grass. Takin It Deep is by Beau Genius, out of the Superbity mare Here's Lookn Adder, and was bred by Billingsley Creek Ranch. He won the California Derby and Bull Dog Stakes (against older horses) and most recently was seventh in the On Trust Handicap.
