Oregon Breeders Hold Stallion Seasons Auction
PORTLAND, Ore. (Dec. 12, 2001) - The Oregon Thoroughbred Breeders Association will hold a silent auction of stallion seasons Saturday at Portland Meadows, with 12 California stallions represented.
The California stallions are Boomerang, Born Wild, Boulder Dam, Candi's Gold, Cherokee Colony, Crowning Storm, Epic Honor, Rainbow Blues, Seattle Bound, Slew of Angels, Synastry and Zanferrier.
There is an additional available season to Ex Marks The Cop, a California-bred son of In Excess standing his first season at Maple Hill Farm in Brownsville, Ore.
The seasons are no-guarantee and each stallion has a minimum bid equivalent to 40 percent of the stallion's advertised fee for 2002. Bids can be made by phone at 503-285-0658.
