CTBA Auction Nets Record Bids
ARCADIA, Calif. (Dec. 11, 2001) - Tuesday night's annual California Thoroughbred Breeders Association Stallion Season Auction reaped a record $86,000 in winning bids.
Proceeds from the auction benefit the CTBA's Political Action Committee, which has worked in support of this year's legislative relief for the California breeding industry, including the passage of advance deposit wagering.
Among the top California seasons auctioned were to In Excess, Cee's Tizzy and Valid Wager.
