Son of Olympio Takes Louisiana Title NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana (Dec. 8, 2001) - Oak Hall, a 5-year-old son of California stallion Olympio, captured the $150,000 Louisiana Champions Day Classic Stakes at the Fair Grounds. Out of the Top Avenger mare Red Hot Sunday and bred by Elvin Ortego, Oak Hall won the 1 1/8 mile race by 2 ½ lengths in 1:50.99. The Classic was Oak Hall's fourth stakes win in the last year, his 12th win in 30 career starts and raised his lifetime earnings to $341,232.
