Son of Olympio Vies in Louisiana NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana (Dec. 7, 2001) - Oak Hall, a 5-year-old gelded son of California stallion Olympio, is entered in Saturday's $150,000 Louisiana Champions Day Classic at the Fair Grounds. Out of the Top Avenger mare Red Hot Sunday, Oak Hall was bred by Elvin Ortego and has 11 wins in 29 starts for career earnings of $251,232. Although Saturday's race is 1 1/8 miles, Oak Hall has stakes wins in the last year in the Louisiana Championship Sprint and the Evangeline Downs Sprint Championship, both at six furlongs, as well as the 1 1/16-mile John Henry Handicap.
