Latin American's Daughter Wins in Houston

HOUSTON, Tex. (Dec. 2, 2001) - Texas-bred Peppy Priscilla became the second stakes winner sired by California stallion Latin American Saturday by winning the $50,000 San Jacinto Stakes for fillies and mares at Sam Houston Park.

The 4-year-old filly, out of the Believe the Queen mare Prissy Priscilla, was bred by Jack Allen. She has four wins in 25 starts with career earnings of $108,954. She ran the 1 1/16 miles in 1:46 3/5.
