Son of Rhythm Wins in Australia
BRISBANE, Australia (Nov. 25, 2001) - Gillespie, a New Zealand-bred son of California stallion Rhythm, won the Group III Queens Cup at two miles over the Eagle Farm turf course Saturday.
The 4-year-old colt is out of the Vice Regent mare Dowager Empress and is a half-brother to Queen Isolt, a group stakes winner in South Africa.
