Sea to See in the Derby

INGLEWOOD, Calif. (Nov. 23, 2001) - Sea to See is the lone California-bred entered in Sunday's $500,000 Grade I Hollywood Derby at 1 1/8 miles on the Hollywood Park turf.

The son of Al Mamoon, out of the Desert Wine mare Sea Caylee Run, is owned by Ronelle Heller, who bred the colt with her late husband, Bart.

Sea to See has won four of 13 starts and not been worse than fourth in nine starts this year. He won the Half Moon Bay Stakes at Bay Meadows Sept. 29 and followed with a third in the Bay Meadows Derby. Earlier this year at Hollywood Park, Sea to See was fourth in the Grade II Will Rogers Handicap.
