General Meeting Represented in Forty Niner ALBANY, Calif. (Nov. 21, 2001) - Two sons of California stallion General Meeting shoot for the $100,000 Forty Niner Handicap, a 1 1/16-mile dirt feature Friday at Golden Gate Fields. Assemblage is a California-bred 4-year-old son of General Meeting, out of the Coastal mare Public Pitcher, and was bred by Larry and Sharon Borskey. He won a June 17 optional claiming race at Bay Meadows. Moonlight Meeting is a Kentucky-bred 6-year-old gelded son of General Meeting, out of the Nijinsky II mare Moonlight Elegance, and was bred by Mr. and Mrs. John Mabee.
